BookkeepingPro Terms of Use

Welcome to BookkeepingPro. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our website or services.
1. Scope of Services
BookkeepingPro provides remote bookkeeping and back-office support to small business owners. Services may include: monthly bookkeeping, catch-up and clean-up projects, financial report preparation, and support via QuickBooks Online. We do not provide tax filing, audit support, or legal or investment advice.
2. Engagement Terms
The engagement starts upon mutual agreement and remains in effect until terminated in writing by either party. You may request to change or end the engagement at any time, with written notice. Upon termination, payment is due for all services performed up to the end date. A minimum 30-day cancellation notice applies to monthly bookkeeping services.
3. Minimum Commitments & Pre-Pay Options
One-time projects such as clean-up services require a 90-day commitment to ongoing monthly bookkeeping. An annual pre-payment option is available and non-refundable. Monthly services are billed in advance on the 1st of each month
4. Unanticipated Services
Services not outlined in the original agreement are subject to separate quotes and approval before commencement. Additional services require a signed Change of Service Request.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete financial data and timely access to necessary documents. You are responsible for decisions made using our work and for the accuracy of your business records.
6. Confidentiality & Data Privacy
All client data is treated as confidential. We may share information with third-party vendors who assist in delivering our services, under confidentiality agreements. We maintain industry-standard security measures but cannot guarantee complete protection against data breaches.
7. Ownership and Use of Materials
Documents you provide remain your property. Templates, documents, and tools we create during our engagement are proprietary and may not be copied or distributed without our permission.
8. Communication and Email Use
We may communicate via email. While we take precautions, we are not liable for unauthorized access or disclosure of information resulting from email communications.
9. Website Content & Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, and logos, is the property of BookkeepingPro and may not be reused without written permission.
10. Disclaimer of Professional Advice
BookkeepingPro does not provide legal, tax, investment, or other professional advice. Clients are encouraged to consult a licensed professional for those matters.
11. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to 300% of the total fees paid by you for the service in question. We are not responsible for any indirect or consequential damages.
12. Indemnification
Clients agree to indemnify and hold BookkeepingPro harmless from any claims arising from misuse of services, failure to provide accurate information, or failure to comply with these terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which BookkeepingPro operates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that state.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted here, and continued use of our site or services indicates acceptance.
